Terms and conditions

The agreement between you and us when you use this website or travel with us. Plain language wherever the law allows it.

About these terms

This website is operated by Asman Tourism Private Limited, a company incorporated in India ("we", "us", "our"). These terms apply to your use of the website and to every tour package you book with us, together with our cancellation and refund policy and our privacy policy. By using the website or making a booking you accept them. If you book for other people, you confirm that you have their authority to do so and that they accept these terms too.

Your account

Browsing packages and sending an inquiry need no account. To request a booking, pay for it or write a review, you sign in with a Google account. You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account and make a booking. Keep the details on your profile, especially your mobile number, accurate - we use them to reach you about your trip. You are responsible for activity under your account; tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

Prices and quotes

  • Prices are in Indian rupees and, unless a package says otherwise, are per person on twin sharing.
  • The price shown when you request a booking is an estimate. Your confirmed price is the one in our quote, which accounts for your dates, room sharing, hotel availability and any changes you have asked for. Applicable taxes are shown in the quote.
  • Each package page lists what is included and excluded. Anything not listed as included - such as airfare, rail fare, personal expenses, tips and travel insurance - is not part of the price.
  • Once confirmed, your price does not change unless you change the booking, or a government tax, levy or fuel surcharge is introduced or increased before you travel, in which case we will show you the difference.

Booking and confirmation

Sending a booking request does not create a contract. Our team checks availability with hotels and transport and contacts you to confirm the details and the price. A contract is formed when we mark your booking Confirmed and notify you by email; the confirmed booking and its price are then shown on your dashboard. We may decline a request, for example where the dates are unavailable, and you are not charged if we do.

Payment

  • Online payments are processed by Razorpay, a licensed payment aggregator. We never see or store your full card, UPI or bank login details.
  • Your payment is recorded only when Razorpay confirms it to us, not when your browser shows a success screen. You will receive a confirmation email.
  • We may also accept payment by bank transfer or other means agreed in writing, recorded against your booking.
  • The balance must be paid by the date given in your quote. If it is not, we may cancel the booking, and our cancellation charges apply.

Cancellations and changes

How to cancel or change a booking, what it costs and how refunds are paid are set out in our cancellation and refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Itineraries and hotels

  • We name the hotels we intend to use. If one is unavailable on your dates, we substitute a property of the same category or better and tell you before you travel.
  • Day-wise itineraries are a plan, not a guarantee of timings. Drivers and guides may change the order of visits, or omit one, for safety, weather, traffic or local restrictions.
  • Sightseeing depends on sites being open. Closures by temple committees, the Archaeological Survey of India, forest departments or local authorities are outside our control.

Your responsibilities

  • Every traveller must carry valid government photo identification. Foreign nationals must hold a valid passport and Indian visa, and some regions require a Protected Area Permit.
  • Some destinations require permits or registrations, such as Inner Line Permits or yatra registrations. Where these are included we arrange them using the details you give us, which must be accurate.
  • High-altitude travel - Ladakh, Spiti, Char Dham and treks above 3,000 metres - carries real health risks. You must make sure each traveller is medically fit for the trip, tell us about relevant conditions before you book, and follow acclimatisation advice from our team.
  • Travellers must follow the reasonable instructions of drivers, guides and hotel staff, respect local laws and customs, and behave considerately. We may end the trip of anyone whose behaviour endangers or seriously disrupts others, without refund.
  • You are responsible for any damage you cause to hotels, vehicles or other property.

Our responsibility

We plan your trip and arrange its services - hotels, vehicles, guides and activities - through independent suppliers, and we choose them with care. We are responsible for arranging the services we confirmed to you. We are not liable for:

  • the acts or omissions of suppliers, carriers or other third parties that we could not reasonably prevent;
  • delay, loss or extra cost caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as weather, landslides, road closures, natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, civil unrest or government action;
  • loss of or damage to your luggage and personal belongings;
  • indirect or consequential loss, such as missed onward connections or loss of earnings.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

We strongly recommend travel insurance covering medical expenses, evacuation, and trip cancellation and curtailment. It is not included in our packages.

Reviews and content

You can review a trip once it is marked completed. Reviews must be honest, about your own experience, and free of abusive, unlawful or promotional content. Every review is checked before it is published, and we may decline or remove one that breaks these rules. By submitting a review you allow us to publish it on this website, with the name and location you give.

The text, itineraries, photographs and design of this website belong to us or our licensors. You may view and share them for personal use; you may not copy them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, please contact us first - most problems are resolved quickly by talking. Subject to your rights as a consumer, the courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida), Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms in force when your booking is confirmed apply to that booking.
